Mažeikių muziejus kartu su Lietuvos fotomenininkų sąjunga ir Mažeikių Fotoklubu organizuoja kas antri metai vykstantį XV tarptautinį gamtosauginį fotografijų konkursą-parodą „Gyvos žemės mintys 2023“. Tai vienintelė šia tematika tiek metų gyvuojanti paroda Lietuvoje. Jos sumanytojai – fotografijos klasikai Lietuvos nacionalinės kultūros ir meno premijos laureatas Aleksandras Macijauskas ir Mažeikių krašto kultūros premijos laureatas, Garbės pilietis Jonas Strazdauskas.

Menininkai – tiek profesionalai, tiek mėgėjai, – kviečiami pateikti savo kūrinius, kuriuose atsispindėtų žemės, oro ir vandens užterštumo, ekologinės problemos.  XV „Gyvos žemės mintys 2023“ parodos atidarymas ir laureatų apdovanojimai vyks 2023 m. rugsėjo mėnesį Mažeikių muziejuje.

KONKURSO-PARODOS

„GYVOS ŽEMĖS MINTYS 2023“

NUOSTATAI

 I. BENDROSIOS NUOSTATOS

1. Organizuojamo konkurso – parodos (toliau – Konkurso) nuostatai nustato Konkurso tikslą ir uždavinius, dalyvius, organizavimo ir vykdymo tvarką bei laiką, reikalavimus fotografijoms, vertinimo kriterijus ir Konkurso nugalėtojų apdovanojimo tvarką.
2. Konkurso organizatoriai – Mažeikių muziejus, Mažeikių rajono savivaldybė, Mažeikių fotoklubas ir Lietuvos fotomenininkų sąjunga.

 II. KNKURSO TIKSLAS, UŽSAVINIAI IR TEMOS

3. Konkurso tikslas – švietėjiška aplinkosauginė veikla.
4. Konkurso uždaviniai: paveikti žiūrovą fotografijų vaizdais susimąstyti, kur mes einame ir kur nueisime, ką mes darome, kad gamta būtų išsaugota; atkreipti žmonijos dėmesį į mus supančios aplinkos problemas; stiprinti atsakomybę už savo ir Žemės likimą, siekiant sustabdyti gamtos niokojimą, oro, vandens, žemės užteršimą.
5. Konkurso temos:
   a) žmogaus įtaka gamtai (teigiama arba neigiama);
   b) žmogaus sąlytis su supančiu pasauliu;
   c) gamtos apsauga;
   d) ekologinės problemos.

 III. KONKURSO DALYVIAI IR ORGANIZAVIMO TVARKA

6. Konkurse dalyvauti gali visi Lietuvos Respublikos ir užsienio šalių piliečiai, išskyrus šalis, kurioms taikomos ES sankcijos, susijusios su karu Ukrainoje.
7. Kvietimas dalyvauti Konkurse turi būti paskelbtas viešai ne vėliau kaip 2023 m. kovo 1 d. mazeikiumuziejus.lt , www.mazeikiai.lt
8. Fotografijas dalyviai pateikia Nuostatų IV skyriuje nurodytu būdu iki 2023 m. gegužės 1 d.
9. Fotografijas vertina Mažeikių muziejaus sudaryta vertinimo komisija (toliau Komisija) iki 2023 m. birželio 1 d. trejose dalyvių amžiaus grupėse: iki 20 metų, 21 – 40 metų; 41 ir daugiau metų.
10. Fotografijų vertinimo kriterijai: visų privalomų reikalavimų išpildymas, atitiktis temai, originali interpretacija, išliekamoji/meninė vertė.
11. Fotografijas Komisija vertina anonimiškai, nežinodama jų autorių.
12. Parodai atrenkama 100 Komisijos pripažintų geriausių fotografijų.
13. Fotografijų paroda Mažeikių muziejuje eksponuojama 2023.09.19 – 2023.11.07 laikotarpiu (organizatoriai pasilieka teisę keisti parodos eksponavimo laiką atsiradus nenumatytoms aplinkybėms).
14. Konkursinės parodos pristatymas ir nugalėtojų apdovanojimo iškilmės Mažeikių muziejuje organizuojamos parodos eksponavimo laikotarpiu, tikslią datą ir laiką viešai paskelbiant ne vėliau kaip prieš 10 dienų.
15. Informacija apie Konkursą ir jo rezultatus skelbiama Muziejaus interneto svetainėje mazeikiumuziejus.lt ir Mažeikių muziejaus Facebook socialinio tinklo paskyroje.

 IV. REIKALAVIMAI FOTOGRAFIJOMS

16. Konkurso dalyvis  vienai  pasirinktai  temai  (ar  kiekvienai iš pasirinktų  temų) gali pateikti  ne daugiau kaip tris fotografijas, sukurtas 2013-2023 metais.  Ta pati fotografija negali būti teikiama kelioms temoms.
17. Konkursui negali būti teikiamos fotografijos, kurios jau buvo teiktos  ankstesniems „Gyvos žemės mintys“ konkursams.
18. Fotografijas Konkursui jo dalyviai turi pateikti elektroniniu paštu GZM0023@gmail.com .
19. Konkursui teikiamos fotografijos turi būti JPG arba TIF formatu (300 dpi, ilgoji kraštinė 2000 px). Fotografijos organizatorių nebus koreguojamos.
20. Teikiant fotografijas Konkursui turi būti nurodyta:
    a) autoriaus vardas ir pavardė;
    b) autoriaus amžius;
    c) šalis, kurios pilietis autorius yra;
    d) elektroninio pašto adresas;
    e) nuotraukos pavadinimas;
    f) tema, kuriai fotografija teikiama.
21. Fotografijos, neatitinkančios Nuostatuose išdėstytų reikalavimų, nebus vertinamos.

 V. APDOVANOJIMAS

22. Komisija išrenka vieną geriausią fotografiją, kurios autorius apdovanojamas pagrindiniu prizu ir diplomu.
23. Komisija išrenka dar 9 geriausias fotografijas (po 3 kiekvienoje amžiaus grupėje), kurių autoriai apdovanojami laureatų prizais ir diplomais.
24. Visi Konkurso dalyviai, kurių fotografijos eksponuojamos parodoje, pristatymo ceremonijoje apdovanojami „Gyvos žemės mintys 2023“ katalogais.

VI. AUTORIŲ TEISĖS IR ASMENS DUOMENŲ APSAUGA

  25. Visi Konkurso dalyviai Konkurso organizatoriui suteikia nemokamą, neatšaukiamą, nuolatinę teisę neišimtine licencija neatlygintinai naudoti fotografijas visais Lietuvos Respublikos autorių teisių ir gretutinių teisių įstatymo 15 straipsnyje nurodytais būdais, visą autoriaus turtinių teisių galiojimo laikotarpį visame pasaulyje, įskaitant, bet neapsiribojant: atkurti, kopijuoti, platinti, rodyti fotografijas (nurodant autoriaus vardą ir pavardę) pristatant Konkursą ir jį reklamuojant visų tipų žiniasklaidos priemonėse šiuo metu ar kada nors vėliau; spausdinti leidiniuose su rinktinėmis Konkurso fotografijomis ar viešai skelbti pateiktą (pateiktas) fotografiją (fotografijas) Muziejaus socialinio tinklo profiliuose. Muziejus turi teisę nurodytas teises suteikti tretiesiems asmenims.
26. Autorių sutikimu su šiomis sąlygomis bus laikomas fotografijų atsiuntimas Konkursui.

CONTEST-EXHIBITION

„THOUGHTS OF THE LIVING EARTH 2023”

REGULATIONS

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

 The regulations of the organized contest – exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the Contest) determine the purpose and tasks of the Contest, the participants, the procedure and time of organization and implementation, requirements for photographs, evaluation criteria and the procedure of awarding the winners of the Contest.

1. The Mažeikiai Museum, the Mažeikiai District Municipality, the Mažeikiai Photo Club and the Union of Lithuanian Photographic Artists are the organizers of the Contest.

II. PURPOSE, TASKS AND TOPICS OF THE CONTEST

3. The purpose of the Contest is the educational environmental protection activities.
4. Contest tasks: to influence the viewer with photographic images to think what we are about to protect the nature; to attract humanity’s attention to the problems of the environment; to strengthen responsibility for one’s own destiny and that of the Earth, in order to stop the destruction of nature, pollution of air, water, and ground.
5. Contest topics:
a) human influence on nature (positive or negative);
b) human contact with the world;
c) environmental protection;
d) ecological problems.

III. CONTEST PARTICIPANTS AND ORGANIZATION PROCEDURE

6. All citizens of the Republic of Lithuania and other countries can participate in the competition, except countries, subjected to EU sanctions, related to the war in Ukraine.
7. The invitation to participate in the Contest must be publicly announced not later than

till 1^st of March, 2023.

8. Participants must preset the photographs in the manner as specified in the Regulations, Chapter IV, not later than on 1^st of May, 2023.
9. Photographs will be rated by the jury of Mazeikiai Museum (hereinafter the Jury) till 1^st of June, 2023, dividing the participants in three groups of age: under 20 years, 21-40 years; 41 years and over.
10. Photographs rating criteria: fulfillment of all mandatory requirements, compliance with the theme, original interpretation, long lasting/artistic value.
11. The Jury evaluates photographs anonymously, without knowing the authors.
12. Rated by the Jury, the best 100 photographs, will be selected for the exhibition.
13. The exhibition of photographs will take place in the Mažeikiai Museum from the 19^th of September till the 7^th of November (the organizers keep the right to change the period of the exhibition in case of unforeseen circumstances).
14. The presentation of the exhibition and the award ceremony of winners will be held in Mažeikiai Museum during the period of the exhibition, with the exact date and time being publicly announced not later than 10 days before.
15. Information about the Contest and its results will be published on the Museum’s website www.mazeikiumuziejus.lt and on the Mazeikių Museum Facebook account.

IV. REQUIREMENTS FOR PHOTOGRAPHS

16. The contestant must present not more than three photographs made in 2013-2023 year for one selected topic (or each of the selected topics). The same photograph cannot be presented to multiple topics.
17. Photographs that have already been presented to previously organized contests „Thoughts of the living Earth” can not be presented for this Contest.
18. Participants must present photos to the Contest by email GZM0023@gmail.com.
19. Photographs presented to the Contest must be in JPG or TIF format (300 dpi, long side 2000 px). Photographs will not be edited.
20. When presenting photographs to the Contest, the following must be specified:
    a) name and surname of the author;
    b) age of the author;
    c) the citizenship of the author;
    d) email address;
    e) title of the photograph(s);
    f) the topic that the photograph is presented for.
21. Photographs, that do not conform the requirements of the Regulations, will not be rated.

V. AWARDING

22. The Jury will select one best photograph, the author of which is awarded the main prize and the diploma.

23. The Jury will select another 9 best photographs (3 in each age group), whose authors will be awarded laureate prizes and diplomas.

24. All Contest participants, whose photographs exhibited, will be awarded „Thoughts of the living Earth 2023” catalogs at the presentation ceremony.

VI. COPYRIGHT AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

25. All the Contest participants guarantee a free, irrevocable, permanent right with a non-exclusive license to use photographs free of charge in all ways specified in Article 15 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Copyrights and Related Rights, for the entire period of validity of the author’s property rights worldwide, including, but not limited to: reproduction, copying, distribution, displaying photographs (specifying the author’s name and surname) when presenting the Contest and promoting it in all types of media now or any time after; printing in publications with selected photos of the Contest or publicly announcing the presented photograph(s) on the Mažeikiai Museum’s social network profiles. The museum has the right to forward these specified rights to third part.

26. The presentation of photographs to the Contest will be considered as the authors’ agreement with these conditions.
